Family Is First

Quality Time & the Importance of Special Occasions

SafePassage Global is dedicated to putting Families First in our lives. This is one of the elements that make our Agents attune to Families in crisis and at-risk Adolescents. As important as it is to us to focus on the well being of your Adolescent when they are in our care, it is equally as important that we have quality time with our own families. It is for this reason that we respect the time our Agents have set aside to spend with their own families.
SafePassage encourages our Agents and Staff and the Families we serve to set aside the following days for quality family time:

  • New Years Day

  • Easter

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Day

  • The Sabbath

  • Religious Holidays

  • Family Members Birthdays

Everyone at SafePassage encourages the Families we serve to also find opportunities to have quality family time even in the midst of crisis. SafePassage does not want the transport of an Adolescent to become a traumatic memory because their transport was arranged for a day that should have been set aside as a special occasion. Therefore, SafePassage does not transport on:

  • New Years Day

  • Easter

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Day

  • The Birthday of the at-risk Adolescent

SafePassage respects the Parents or Guardians right to choose the date of transport and respects the Destination School or Programs right to admit an at-risk Adolescent on which ever day they believe is best. SafePassage also respects the recommendations of the Educational Consultants, Therapists, Clinicians and Counselors to make a transport occur during a particular time frame.

SafePassage Global pledges to the best of our ability and continue to accommodate all parties involved when the decision has been made to transport an at-risk Adolescent on any specific day.
