Eckerd Academy of the Blue Ridge:
Helping Kids Grow Emotionally and Academically

Eckerd Academy of Blue Ridge, a division of Eckerd Youth Alternatives, is located in the North Georgia mountains town of Suches. EABR is an alternative learning model fully accredited and licensed as an academic, therapeutic learning center for at-risk adolescents, boys and girls, ages 10-18. EABR provides academic and therapeutic treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of each individual student. EABR also has a myriad of extracurricular activities that compliment the students abilities as well as experiential field trips to museums, the symphony and other fine arts interests. EABR is considered to be a college prep institution.

In addition to its accreditation EABR is a member of the National Association for Therapeutic Wilderness Camping.
