When I first read the news story on this guy I thought no matter what he lost, he should never have left that child alone. How do you walk away from a child and not ensure he is in good hands? If you do not want to work with an educational consultant you can look for a therapeutic school or program through the National Association of Schools and Programs at www.natsap.com where you can locate a directory of therapeutic schools and programs that adhere to the high standard as set by NATSAP. Admissions personnel at the different programs should be able to help you eliminate schools or programs that do not deal with your son's issues. Once you have determined where your son will go then we can assist you with transporting him to the therapeutic environment you have chosen. I hope this is helpful.
